Aichi Area Guide
Aichi Prefecture is in Chubu area. The capital is Nagoya. Nagoya is the third largest city by population.
Aichi is located near the center of the Japanese main island, and faces Ise and Mikawa bays.
It is one of the Chukyo Industrial Area, many companies set headquartered and operate plants in Aichi. Such as Toyota Motor Corporation, Makita Corporation, Noritake, Mitsubishi Motors and so on.
In 2005 The World Exposition was held. It was visited by approximately 22million. And for this Chubu Centrair International Airport was open.
There are also historical site like Nagoya castle, Kiyosu castle, Atsuta Shrine, meiji-mura.
Nagoya is known for unique local food. They like use Red Miso.
